You're a cleanup worker at a nuclear research facility that's been overrun by radioactive zombies. All you've got is a flail.

Throw the ball, skewer as many zombies as you can, then let go while it's still flying. They scatter, smash into the rest of the horde and split apart. Green ones explode into shards, red drums and bombers blow up, and anything you throw into the spike walls or sludge stays there. Push the fission meter to stage 6 and the whole room goes critical.

Made for Defold Game Jam 2026. The theme was Chain Reaction, so we have an actual chain and an actual reaction.

How to play

  • WASD / Arrows - move
  • Left click (tap) - throw the flail at the cursor
  • Left click (hold) - swing the flail around

<Hold controls are rough right now and will be improved in a future update>

Spin trick: tap to fling the flail out so the chain goes taut, then sweep your cursor the opposite way - the flail will swing around you to follow.

  • Right click / Space - let go while it's flying
  • E - descend into a manhole once the room is clear
  • Esc / P - pause

Menus have keyboard shortcuts too (Enter, Esc, number keys).

Swing fast enough and the chain wraps zombies up instead of hitting them. You can fling those too. Brutes are tougher: they only get caught sometimes.

Play with a mouse. If clicks don't register, click the game once first.

Known stuff

Desktop browser only, no touch controls.

No fullscreen yet - it's coming in a future update.

Settings has a retro PS2 mode. Try it on and off.
